Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. This brought her some attention. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding an instrument hidden in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by the sound it made. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a pastime, but to grow. She started writing lyrics of her own. As well as Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mother said they can help other people, not be famous with her work but to make those around them see the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. When she began playing the piano, she was just six and began writing music at the age of nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she told her parents. Aurora was not a goal. Aurora claims she loves creating music. Music to her is the most effective way to feel anything.
