Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a pastime, but to grow. She started writing lyrics of her own.
